Guangji Bridge is located on the Han River in Chaozhou ancient city. It is one of the few surviving ancient pontoon bridges in China, first built in the Song Dynasty with a history of nearly a thousand years. Travel tips
- Transportation:Take a taxi or bus from Chaozhou Railway Station or Bus Station for about 15 minutes to reach Guangji Bridge. You can easily walk to the east or west entrance of the bridge.
- Opening Hours:Open all day, you can freely stroll on the bridge. The best time to view the night light scenery is from 18:00 to 21:00.
- Ticket:Free admission, but visitors on the pontoon section must follow safety guidelines.
- Best Season to Visit:Spring and autumn have pleasant weather, and it is best to enjoy the river view and night scenery in the evening.
- Photography Tips:You can take panoramic photos from the observation platform on the east side of the bridge. The lighting effect is best in the evening or at night, suitable for capturing water reflections and night views of the ancient bridge.
